Congrats!
How was your onsite? Was the SWE coding similar to PE coding or difficult?
thx! coding s like swe lc style (medium level)
Man's keeping track 😂
meta pe coding question has like only 25 question bank. easy to prepare.
the hard part is in system round
everyone can pass coding round
Plus one
thx! sys round was mostly linux troubleshooting. they want me to interpret metrics and troubleshoot based on the given vmstat, top, iostat output.. diagnosing cases like db slow responses.. memory leak..
Thank you for your information.
Gotta ask, how does one start to prepare for interviews like this?
can i dm ?
i was asked a lot of complex networking problems in the system round.
like very practical
Can you share an example?
Can you share the timeline? along with when you applied also
May 12th 13th 2 screening rounds, 15th heard back; May 27th 28th final loop, June 2nd team match; hr reached out, i didnt apply for pe role.
your recruiter mention networking in the doc he sent to you? if included, will be tested. meta pe previously did not test networking, i believe they added this since last year August.
They have mentioned networking stack
I would say which part of preparation doc is asked mostly depends on your interviewer.
this is not standard testing like leetcode
usually depends on the mood of interviewers
anything can be asked
from the difficulty rank i would say meta pe >> google > amazon > coinbase
Dawg that does not help with my confidence ðŸ˜
