Way too many bulletpoints - any reason why you're leaving aws though

Wlb?

my wlb is actually pretty decent & i got really lucky with team placement

#

though now they’re increasing the pressure around goals with quarterly goals instead of yearly

#

and yeah i wanted to strengthen the section a bit more so i added more, previously it looked like this

#

basically with the RTO / RTT (Return to Team) situation, i'm in an odd spot right now. they announced RTO some time back but i was able to go under the radar for it by getting a medical exemption which allowed me to work from a different state and not go into the office. now they're being real hardasses about the wfh accommodation and not renewing it so i'm forced to either switch teams or switch companies. switching teams would mean i would have to drive 45 min to 1 hr each way, 5 days a week

#

i'm trying to see if i can get a more ideal situation with 20-30 min commute max or a full remote role if possible

i only started sending applications this past week but i have 2 interviews coming up next week, both with remote companies, for mid-level roles. for context i applied to one of them a while back but postponed it till now and then the other one was a linkedin recruiter reach out that i postponed till now too. they only had senior roles up for some companies so i went ahead and applied to it to see what happens but got rejected by 1 of them so far 🥀
