from what you know based on you and your friends hiring cycle, do you think solving the base question easily but not solving a medium followup (with a somewhat correct approach and had code down) turn a LH into a LNH

my base question was so easy i solved optimally in 10 min and the rest of the time i just brain farted on a medium followup😭

i knowww esp since if it was any other harder problem and i took say 30 min to code then solving the base question itself holds a lot more weight😮‍💨
