from 200 applications, 90% get screened out?

that leaves 20, then half of them get interviewed?

well for landing the interview tho

thing is everything just feels so random, and school + names are the only certainty

and i assume screening by HR is the biggest hurdle

and roles are getting thousands of applications now i assume, with only a handful being interviewed
