#!process is ng job seeking easier than

ng is very easy, u should graduate as quickly as possible
much worse bro
Some of my senior guys just got mad over the past year of not getting a job
ng recruiting lwk cooked
Ng has always been harder than intern
Most big companies hire mainly through intern->RO pipelines
And theres way more people looking for full time than for internships
Also it’s longer
And harder
Pause
But it’s like double the rounds I feel like on average
Yea why is this even a question
It’s easier cuz u compete with ngmis that didn’t get a return offer
But what if you’re the ngmi yourself
Good point
bro
Intern is already so hard even if I have ft exp
I wanna know how can I improve it to get more opportunities.
not necessarily lol, ur also competing w/ all the cracked ppl who want smth even better
🧢
how is that cap lol
😂 fair enough
wdym it depends
most ng interviews are like 3 to 5 rounds
whereas for interns it 1 to 2 usually
ng is actually cooked
No
Most quant doesn’t hire ng at all, and if they do it’s very little
Tech is 1.5-2x the rounds compared to intern usually
do quants hire faang workers with 2-3 yoe
yeah just intern, ro, and then after a couple years start faang hopping
New grad is harder than intern
Lots of companies dont even hire new grad
Lyft, Linkedin, Discord, Gusto, Rippling, Plaid, X, Airbnb, Spotify, Snowflake dont hire new grad
Only convert interns
what about software engineer I
isn’t that like 1-2 yr of experience i think
idk if that includes internships prolly not
are unicorns chiller than faangs in terms of like wlb
does it make sense to take a lil pay cut from senior faang to go to senior unicorn for better wlb
Wlb is p much the same at both
Only place Ive heard of terrible wlb is spacex, aws, applied intuition
Msft having the best wlb
can you compare hours per week
u could prolly do 30 at msft
can you get overemployed with another role then
like apple + msft at same time fully remote both
i mean u could OE any amt of remote jobs, just depends how good u are
going OE as a new grad seems kinda crazy unless you've done it b4 tho
Just gooning 100hours/week then
exploring my options
Bro forgot c1…..
welcome to china man, u'll see 996 or 9116 everywhere💀
just like what Jack Ma has said, 996 is a bless 🇨🇳
so much gooning
c1 is ass ive heard
I saw an Airbnb new grad position
That shit closed in a day
New grad big tech is literally just FAANG + bloomberg + msft
Everyone else has either very low Hc or doesn’t do it
Bros pants are on fire
This thread might be cope
Isn’t it not allowed by ur employer
Like no way you’re allowed to work at both meta and google at the same time, there’s prob something in the contract prohibiting another job, no?
otherwise u can just do 30 hrs at both and make like 400k/yr
obviously u cant let ur employers find out
Don’t you get caught when filing taxes
nah, there are ppl that do it
as long as the employer doesn't find out you're good
why not
