I think it’s much preferred that they’re tech related

I remember someone saying last week that they tried to give a non tech related story and the interviewer directly told them to think of a tech related one

I had a couple of like volunteering or organization stories though in case they asked specific customer obsession or other less common questions

Usually they’re gonna ask common questions that most ppl should be able to apply to a project or work experience since most of us don’t have that much industry exp yet

its prob just easier for them to ask better follow up questions with technical exp

My interviewer asked me two questions and both of mine weren’t tech. One was when I worked at a cafe experience and another a club exec experience. Depends on the interviewer but as long as you exemplify the lps really well it should be fine
