snow ro is peanut
^ did u talk to hm about ur teams ro percent
i think company wide it's like 30% but some teams r higher like 70ish
he mentioned they only take from interns and less from FT but yeah could just be bait
hella dodgy answer 😭
@glacial flare
do yk anything ab this snow team
kerfuffle said not worth the risk the mfs say that all the time
for ro id go aws
I would go with snowflake
if this guys is cracked enough to pass Snowflake interviews he is definitely cracked enough to get a job anywhere else even without a ro
idk if im that cracked tbh thats the problem lol.
But Is snow intern an enough value add to the resume?
Yes I think snow is highly valuable and will add more res value than most FAANGs at least in the tech place. Most companies excluding quant imo won’t have an interview process as hard as snowflake, so I think you will be set next cycle even if you do not get an RO
that doesnt mean anything LOL
id be surprised if theyve hired a single external ng in the past year
for the entirety of snowflake

SNOW
Really? Their OA tells me otherwise 💀
Was their interviews lc hards as well?
Got perf on both their OAs but that was a one time clutch idk if I can pull that shi in a interview
Lowkey that’s kinda chill
Was hm technical?
Btw I’d go snowflake ❄️
Snowflake aura is insane
Damn, wasn't aware of Snowflakes game
But yeah hm wasn't technical either
The techs were technical with a ton of followups
On internal implementations
Whatever you use really
Yep yep
op good job, dm for invite to menlo park if ur going
aws aurora powers a lot of people's db but from an IC's perspective Snowflake is way better
@sonic zenith can I DM you?
as in, how are the data structures implemented? like, how is a hashmap implemented
btw, I recommend Snowflake as well
- Better res value that Snowflake
- Once you have flake on res, DBricks will def notice you, they keep hiring from each other
- AWS is always hiring, you can get in that later
