What’s your previous exp?
TC + breakdown?
@long flax
@long flax congrats! Can you also share what questions were u asked in em round?
my em round was a resume deep dive, we talked about previous experiences in technical detail, interviewer asked if i were to redo something from a past internship, how i would do it, then we went to a system design question that was really broad
i got pretty lucky with my interviewer, he was super nice, and we really just vibes
oh also there were some basic behavioral questions
how did u prep for system design questions?
i watched a lot of videos, but didn't prep super hard... system design can really be boiled down to a few like key concepts like caching, horizontal scaling, containerization, db optimization, load balancer, etc.
i would say just know what general system design/optimization frameworks are and its pretty much you can answer most questions with that
@hearty pollen ^, also this is a really good video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-0g_aJL5Fw

did your vo had an hr round?
usually onsite has 2 techs + 1 hr
fair. But I had 2 techs + em
thats strange
did the em ask bout your resume and possibly sys design?
mostly resume
maybe they tryna speedrun the process idk
or it might depend on availability of the people
that makes sense actually
some people do hr on a separate day
