Yes aws

were you in fungible?
Yup fungible
is the aws process the same interview process as general sde ?
did u get team matched before interview
did u recieve email from auta-aada?
same process just team matching is very fast I think
lc/lp?
Congrats brother!
nope
Congrats. Mind share your resume so we can maybe get a hint of why teammatching is easy for you? I got interviewed too but response hasn't come yet.
Theyve been moving very quick with my application so im lucky
Yeah ofc ill post it here when i can
general vs specialized
do you have a pic of email
I thought it was js fung and nonfung
same shit lol
He said he’s fung tho
When i got the oa it said fungible
But same day
Aws recruiter contacted me
Interviewer was also aws
yeah if u got recruiter it means team matched
Interesting
oh then is a team hire
Id love to see ur resume bro so i can see how cooked i am
Imma post it later tdy
ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Wording was crazy ngl
Seattle
Was your recruiter sudor?
Also mb whoever asked the email was from AUTA i didnt know what that meant at first
Yupp
can you disclose intials of interviewer
also how did ur interview go any sort of nitpicking from the interviewer
KS
Interviewer was very nice and chill, asked 2 LPs about tight deadline/making a quick decision and one follow up on second LP
LC was one untagged LCA problem
Was your question ab staff hierarchy
Yeah the LC was in two parts, essentially removed one of the variables i used in the first part and asked how i would solve it again
Yup
Did he tell you that you solved the question correctly
Or did he just end the coding part after you were done
got this one as well
Did you get offer for AWS position?
coded first part correct, second part only had time to explain method
no i wasn't aws matched before interview idt
got waitlisted
huh, ur second part wasn't about finding the closest shared parent/manager?
@lavish wraith
Did you receive the survey
he said he understood my approach and said it was good
didnt explicitly say correct or not
it was kind of the same for me, i coded like half of the second solution then explained the rest and he was like okay I see your approach
that was both parts
it was about finding the shared manager given different variables
like second part he took away the manager attribute and i could only use reports which was a list of employees directly below a given employee (children of that node)
nope
yeah
How long did it take you to finish the original question around?
Was it almost the entire time
Id say maybe 15-20 mins and then 10 mins for the second part but i dont remember at all lol
LP section was quite short
type shit
Nice nice
Congrats bro
thanks
@lavish wraith for your interview did they tell you who your interviewer is?
yeah their name was in the interview confirmation email
For the same position?
same role as me
location was communicated pretty early
by recruiter
it was seattle/bellevue
which makes sense cuz i was team mateched
matched
ye ofc
same, i just interviewed yesterday for aws
ah mine was different, my first part was to return the longest chain of management
second part was to find the closest shared manager
what team
idk it just says aws
Canada?
US seattle
Damn
Wouldnt u just keep a count every time u find a shared manager
Thxxx
first part i just used DFS
second part i just explained that I would find the path to the two people and compare them
thats pretty much all i explained but he said that sounded good and to move on
Zon offer for breakfast is crazy
