I am not in the process anymore, but wondering how was the experience, what topics did the interviews cover, how difficult was coding?
and what is the timeline?
I dmd
Hey @wheat ocean , Congrats!
i dmd you.
My experience was pretty good (thanks to the recruiter moving quickly), however, I found the VO significantly tougher than the screening. The screening round in my case was mostly related to networking basics+dns+routing and some Linux basics. The PE coding round was one file handling+1 LC medium question.
The VO SWE coding round was 2 LC mediums variation (LC tagged, top 100, last 30 days). While the systems round related to Linux kernel specifics (extremely in-depth, apart from CPU, process, memory, disk, network management). It was a troubleshooting question, and I found the book Linux Kernel Management by Robert Love really helpful.
The timeline was:-
Recruiter Initials: NM
Initial reachout+MCQ: Jan 14th (Heard back 3 days later)
Screening: Feb 12th (Heard back 2 days later)
VO: Feb 25th and Feb 27th (Heard back 2 working days later)
Team Matching: March 6th
Offer: March 7th
very happy for u bro, good luck at meta
Can you share which sections from the book you found most important?
in the systems round, were you asked CPU, process, memory, disk, network management? or the troubleshooting question
