Dude the size is way too small imo

#

U can barely read this. Recruiters would have difficult time reading this

snow imp
#

i made it small previously to get as much in so resume parsers could get more info

weak osprey
#

Yeah but it better to remove stuff than have everything

snow imp
#

how do i make it less dense

livid thunder

Wait bro you got published in Nature?

snow imp
#

manuscript prep for nature

#

havent gotten accepted yet

livid thunder
#

Ok make sense. For the research paper why don’t you include it as part of your research experience instead of as a separate section

snow imp
#

fair

#

would i just include it after all the bullet points?

weak osprey
#

I would remove awards section. Maybe u could include AIME for quant companies but rest don’t matter

to make it less dense, should i use:

  • bigger font
  • more whitespace
  • less sections?

For dates don’t do number slash format, include the actual title of the month followed by the year like August 2024 - December 2024. I think it harder for ats to parse the current format u have

snow imp
#

oh i thought it was easier to use numbers

#

cuz they can just directly parse it

In skills section bold tools and languages

#

Also for the tools that u use for projects include a bar like Hackathon | Javascript, etc. I do that for my resume bc it easier for recruiters and knowing what is the title vs tools

snow imp
#

dont bars like mess up ATS tho

#

pipes, bars, idk |

weak osprey
#

In my experience it hasn't but idk u might be right

livid thunder
#

used to have commas before

#

Put it through ATS and it picked up the skills okay

Also alr did this sometimes but u should try to quantify ur experience where possible. For instance, u said in the app dev club that you enhance event management and customer experience, but by how much?? Try to see if there are places where u can quantify ur experience more
