you use a hashmap to store all the info

there are 4 parts to it

first is just build basic hashmap to store transactions

the next two add on to it and include you getting the average of the transactions and identifying fradulent activity which was smtg like 2 * avg??? dont fully rmr but it was pretty basic. the 4th part is designing a system for different customers.

its basically just using a hashmap to store teh custtomer id and keeping their transactions there lol

keep in mind 4th part is usually just to talk about and u code only if you have the time

if u do end up coding it up, the follow up was how you could implement concurrency and multi threading

but even at this point if u have more time they dont ask you to implement that lol

you are given a business idea and need to first talk about what are the pros and cons of it

from perspective of business and customer

#

then you go on to a introdduction of the actual question, and you may dry run some cases that they give you to ensure you understand it right

then they paste a code snippet with a bunch of if and else

#

this is the code you'll work it and ur goal is to fix it up so that it accurately reflects the conditions they give you prior

#

the move here is to NOT change the dogshit code they give you

#

but to WRITE YOUR OWN

the ones Ik who did fail case tried to change the code they gave instead of implementing their own

and they lost a lot of time here

after this portion, they add some more conditions to the conditions they initially gave and ask you to update your code to reflect that

and once you do that

your case is over

#

behavioral questions change but its some variation of:
"tell me about a time you challenged the status quo"
"tell me about a time you had to learn something new"
"tell about a time you had to collaborate with others"
