I did my interviews on 02/13 as well. No update am i rejected
Yes, lld on book search something; fairly easy
1 Lc hard and 1 Lc medium
did mine 02/04, still nothing lol
Round 1:- Lc hard and Lc med
Round 2:- Lp + LLD
Round 3:- LPs
can’t say, sometimes interviewers take time to give feedback or some other reasons, but until you don’t get a rej email, i’d say there is hope
did you receive any survey before the offer?
Tree hard nc150, Heap medium (don’t remember if it’s tagged or not)
yes, yesterday
thank you!!
thank you!
My vo was on feb12, but still no email from amazon. Got one recruitment process survey feedback yesterday.
got the survey yesterday as well
did your portal change anything?
how is location determined for you? is it before the interview
Bro did you prep for lld in anyway or you just knew how to do it
nope
Where'd it change? I got an OA and interview for this new grad role, even though the role I applied said not under consideration.
i practiced classes and objects and did random problems like pizza ood, library management, file search, hotel management etc
how did you prep for lps?
Just have a good grasp at classes and objects and you’re good, no need to know design patterns. Also, try to code rather than just looking at the solutions, helps a lot
Did you just use solutions you found on leetcode or how did you know if you approached it right
I wrote 10-12 stories in a word doc and had my friend take my mocks day before the interview
wheres ur location?
Gpt
sea
Also, there is this one thing that helped me alot, when they asked a question, i took 5-10 seconds to plan everything i wanted to say in my mind, so it made it easy for me to speak fluently and not stumble
why is their process so god damn slow after submitting an OA
Are you an international student? how many years of exp do you have?
Did you just use solid design principles or other things
Whats LLD sorry
for lld did you actually write code for different classes and objects or was it more just explaining and talking?
congratulations brother
did you use design patterns also ?
.
For Tree Hard, did they ask to optimize for iterative or any recursion approach would do?
.
Yes, international. 1 internship and RA position at the university since fall 23
Just normal classes by keeping solid in mind, it's nothing difficult, just kept telling my thought process and coding simultaneously - the interviewers are quite helpful
i used recursion, and was not asked to convert to iterative
No, i didn't
okkk
is your Hr first name G last name A?
do u have a good example of what it looks like / is it similar to like c1 lld interview?
where did you find these LLD problems to prep?
Congrats, was this more like a verbal offer or were you given the offer letter as well?
i am not aware of c1 process, but amazon’s is quite easy. Just be proficient in defining classes, creating objects and writing pythonic code. Explaining your approach holds maximum importance imo
google search, leetcode discussions and other people’s experiences
got the offer letter
Also, did they give you an option to choose the joining date? What is your joining date at Amazon?
we can choose any date from apr-june it says, i'm yet to confirm mine
international, graduating in may
no
Did the final invite on 28th Jan asked you to fill a survey?
And when did you receive the final confirmation saying the interview has confirmed and the final schedule pertaining to it?
yes
i received the final confirmation a week before and schedule 3 days before the interview day
could you give an idea of how the followups are for LP questions?
Does the final confirmation doesn't consist of the schedule? Didn't get it
do they ask questions like Why Amazon? Weakness and strengths?
or beh is strictly LP related?
when is your interview?
why did you do this? why did you pursue this technology and not the other one? what was the project really about? how did you handle this scenario? what did the other team members think of this? etc etc
confirmation as in the final interview date, but the timings and interviewer details i received 3 days before
i was not asked these, but i had prepared
