I think 4/4 optimal thing isn’t the only thing they look for. There are many other signals such as communication (the ability to articulate intuition naturally - not seeming like it’s memorised), able to find bugs and solving them instantly, my code has couple of bugs and instinctively I was able to fix them, most importantly the way you carry yourself such as confidence also helps. I didn’t had 4/4 optimal but still got offer.
