I updated the timeline rn, hope that helps
Yeah amz is really rng, but 2months is not super bad considering the holiday season being in the middle of it all
what weight do they have more on lp or lc? like if u did better or worse on one?
I'd say decent, not a lot of big names, but good technical experience.
FYI, if you make it past the OA, you most likely wont be res screened again
Actually lemme just make a guide so hopefully it answers all questions
did you feel like you aced the tech portion of the interview?

I'm sorry about that 😭
All I Know About Amazon’s Interview Prep (Behavioural Version)
LPs are VERY important at Amazon.
Make sure you understand them inside and out. Here are two great resources:
- Official LPs from Amazon: https://www.amazon.jobs/content/en/our-workplace/leadership-principles
- Detailed Breakdown: https://www.scarletink.com/p/interviewing-at-amazon-leadership-principles
Once you’ve understand the LPs forwards and backwards, move on to common behavioural questions that Amazon asks. Here are two vids I found useful:
Answering 13 questions asked in 98% Amazon Interviews in 2024 → https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-WXnYv1to4
If you have extra time:
22 Questions Asked in 94% Amazon Interviews → https://youtu.be/bDKuX3BnBTk?si=X96dLHPSm8yjhdxn
How to Prepare for LPs Efficiently
-
Understand the LPs deeply. Seriously, live, breathe, and die by them.
-
Prepare a bank of stories.
Use the questions from the YouTube video and create a story for each question in that video. Some stories can apply to multiple questions, which is fine. Have at least 4-5 solid stories and try to integrate 2-3 LPS in each story or on the flip side, have two or three LPs share one story, however your brain retains information the best. -
Remember key points, not scripts. You don’t need to memorize word-for-word, dots that connect your story together.
-
Review them regularly. Try revising them every morning and before bed to keep them fresh.
Why You Shouldn’t Lie About Your LPs
Aside from the obvious ethical reasons, lying can backfire big time—here’s why:
Amazon is a massive company where many employees stay for years. Unlike fast-moving startups, they have a low turnover rate, and their interviewers are experienced.
Your interviewer is probably a seasoned Amazonian who can detect BS. They’ll poke holes in your story, ask follow-ups, and if they sense dishonesty, they won’t want you on their team.
Amazon’s interview process is all about evaluating if you’d be a good teammate. If they think you’re lying, that wont help your chances
At the end of the day
luck plays a role—but you can maximize your chances by being:
Prepared (know your LPs and have your stories ready)
Likeable (don’t sound robotic, be engaging)
Relatable (the interviewer is just a person like you, find common ground)
Treat the interview as a conversation rather than an interrogation. If you can make the experience enjoyable for the interviewer, you’ll do great.
Godspeed! 🚀
Hope this helps
Thanks 🙏
Depends on your interviewer, but in general LPs carrry a lot of weight
thanks 🙏
Done sir
It went well, wont say that I aced it, because I couldve done better
Appreciate y

Since a lot of people reached out to me asking which behavioural question I got, just putting it here so that everyone can benefit.
I dont remember my exact behav q but me or anyone I know has never been asked a behav question outside of the questions mentioned in those yt videos.
Trust me, just do them and you'll be set for the behav portion of the interview.
