It was more oop designed problem where you have a class that manages files and servers and you need to keep track of which file goes to which server and when you add a server/file all the servers should be balanced

My solution was not optimal I linear searched for the server with minimum files

The follow up to my technical question was adding a new server in which case you need to rebalance all the files since the added server would be empty

yeah but it was not optimal I looped through each server and transferred one file until the added server was balanced. I am sure there was a way to do it in bulk based on the property of it being balanced

I also told him the wrong time complexity but he said ok makes sense and moved on
