@rough bough have u heard of anyone having success pushing to fall without signing offer? im in a position where i cant really renege if i sign the offer so would the strat change to be just asking every single day of the 2 weeks to push?

Havent heard of anyone do it without signing before. Usually fall hc is unknown atm so they cant say yes

do you think itll be faster to get fall if you just reneged earlier @rough bough

and when you reneged, did you know that they will let u do fall or nah?

from what ive seen the recruiter only says yes to fall after you let go of the summer offer, is that true?

im not sure. i cant give advice on doing that now, i can only share my experience
when i reneged i had basically assumed i would not get fall and i was reneging because i had already started my summer internship

I'm honestly not sure, it's too far from my exp to give sound advice. I think you should ask for fall though bc fall hc is actively getting taken up while u wait to see if u get summer
