Yes, too much bold
So much that it takes your attention away from other things. Makes it hard to focus and parse quickly with your eyes.
thoughts on it now? any feedback on the descriptions?
eh i liked a balance btwn both
highlight numbers and skills
don't highlight one-off words like "production" or "systematic biases"
to each their own
in terms of format, I'd personally change to a serif font (like times) to look more profi
since you're bolding skills, I don't think it's necessary to write out the skills you used for each internship
easier to read the company / job titles you've had that way as well
or maybe just reduce it to a "React" or "Full-Stack" if you're applying to those specific roles
what's the point in making them bold?
faster to read
esp if it's for a skills-based role like full-stack here rather than general swe
isn't the additional info useless
it's just ATS fluff
@slow lodge like nobody cares if you have 100+ or typescript bolded
you look at the cv and if it's skill based you just look at the skills
unless you're bolding specifically for the role idgi
oh i mean the typescript bolded is bc it proves you actually used it
otherwise its easier to lie when you put typescript under skills
but even if you didn't lie, the skills section doesn't measure how proficient you are
everything under my skills section is just something that I've used a few times and could apply it if I had open book, but I'm only proficient in a few of those things?
ahh true
but yeah to this point, I'm assuming the Company Names and University Name are bolded so that's the most important thing to scan above all
yea they're already bolded, thanks for the feedback boss
your headers should be bolded too
do i keep expected grad bold
no, most resume templates keep that standard
