i love you
been in this process since summer LMAO
even before c1 ended
i actually did it
i did the neetcode pipeline
c1 -> google
lc meds
with a bunch of follow ups
not too hard
how was oa
dm ๐๐พ
teach me how please
oa was very easy
but i think its a little rng on if u pass through it
had a friend perfect score it but reject so idrk
i thought cold applying google doesnt work
u gotta write ur own test cases and stuff, so maybe thats why
got google OA and then got rejected after. they probably just want a lot of test cases and comments explaining code, time comp, etc.
just how it be
congrats tho!!
but were questions hard in ur opinion
dont u get like 90 min
LOL idk, rolled the perfect dice on that one
questions were easy to med. the first one was very easy, secone was medium DP prob
probably missed some edge case in my OA
dynamic programming
i did no test cases or comments and got next steps, but i did solve them pretty fast.
luck of the draw
praying next cycle does me better
itโs not luck, he impressed the interviewer by doing the interview in SQL
I would know, I was his IDE
ah of course why didn't think of thqat
ill let it slide this time
nice what team did u match with
compiler engineering @ google core
ty ty
gl on matching! we all gonna make it
manifesting offer
how did the team match calls go for you
idk what im doing wrong it seems p straightforward they just explain their project and i ask hella questions on it
standard behavioral that ive been asked a million times
my second call the guy seemed hella in a rush too didnt ask any questions about me just explained the project and was like "sounds good u should hear back from your recruiter soon"
so i kinda have a niche in systems low level dev in general
the call was a really good match bc the project is very similiar to a prev project i did
so i kinda spent some time geeking over the project with them
ahh i see nice
my dude didnt ask much tbh
it was like 25 mins out of 30 of me just spamming questions
i see ty
howd u guys prep for tech round btw
oh that's cool. you had exp with compilers before or just hopped on the team?
i talked to an engineer and they were like the onboarding process is pretty thorough so you should be able to join any team even with limited exp
i had prev experience but also my manager was like that too
just expected strong cpp skills
it just works out that i have a compilers background
damn orz
idts i didn't do any of this
@grand hearth can i dm?
@grand hearth Were there any August start dates when you got the offer? Also congrats btw!!!
