what does GANS and MICE mean. I know what a GAN is, but assume your reviewer wont
RMSE MAE?
Just curious how many internships you applied to
I’m also a sophomore but don’t nearly have as many experiences or related projects
gotchu, thanks for the insight! How would you go about making it look better for the recruiter seeing it? And for the research experience I don't really know how to sum it up without using those ml terms
around 700 so far. I go to a small LAC so its easier to get these opportunities
put in parenthesis next to it like "GAN (Generative Adverserial Neural Network)"
a recruiter may not know what GAN is, but they will 95% have heard what a Neural Network is and can map that as a Machine Learning AI skill
also helps with keywords
chance of ATS scanning for Neural Network >> chance of ATS scanning for GAN
and "RMSE" -> "RMSE (Root Mean Squared Error)"
if a term is repeated, just to the parenthesis once, and then someone carefully reading will know, someone scanning in seconds probably doesn't care to know the specifics of your ML stuff but will read ML terms and get the gist, and ATS has more keywords to pickup on
Also, If you can I think another side project doing ML stuff may help, but a much more subjective opinion
this point is important
you can be as techy as you want but the first person to read ur resume did not major in cs lol
