What dsa questions should I expect to see and be ready for
!process state farm final
what role?
It just says summer 2025 software engineer intern
o interesting
I did the hirevue and now I am in the live interview round
i did final for P&C Actuarial and Underwriting Modeling Intern, and they didn't really ask dsa at all. it was just explaining some python method that queries a sql table
also they asked a bunch of questions abt design principles and methodology
tbh i still don't know what this role really is but the job requirements wanted python, java, REST, and AWS so i'm assuming it was at least SWE-adjacent
Yea thats the same things state farm lists
Okay so it probably won't be dsa that's huge thank you
And for p&c how long did it take after that interview to hear back?
4 hours
Woah 4 hours thats quick
fr
Did you get the offer?
ye
np, but studying some dsa wouldn't be a bad idea either
just to be safe
i have no idea how interviewer-dependent the questions are
but seemed like they had a list of questions they were just pulling from
Yea I have been doing blind 75 but I've never talked through a dsa problem so I should definitely practice that
also prep ur behavioral
Will do 🫡
fire good luck
