#!process bloomberg offer

2 tech then 1 behavioral, had 30 min to an hour break between each
each tech had 2 lc mediums in ~40 mins, didn’t have time to fully implement solution for second problem in one of the techs but made sure to communicate thought process throughout
behavioral was standard questions
how was your em?
pretty chill, started w introductions a few behavioral then picked an internship experience to discuss deeply
no full sys design problem, just some questions about how the project could be scaled/where potential bottlenecks were
important to be able to talk about technical decisions made in whatever project/experience you discuss and why those decisions matter
Thanks! Do you have a timeline?
apply - 9/18
phone - 10/22
onsite - 11/25
em - 12/5
offer - 12/11
were the lc questions part of tagged? and did you have to compile?
No tagged, maybe some variations but I only did top 30 tagged to prep for phone so not too sure
doing tagged still helped imo, similar themes in the problems
had to compile during phone but just did dry runs during onsite, maybe interviewer dependent
thanksss
Did your recruiter change after em round?
yeah
congrats!! have my onsite in jan, was wondering whats the difference between the 3-4 hour onsite one and the em round? Is em behavioral/more theory?
Hi @shell comet, What is your recruiter initials before the change?
onsite for me was tech -> tech -> hr behavioral and techs were just leetcode with a couple resume questions at the start. if you clear a round, interviewer tells you to come back like 30 mins later for next round. em had some behavioral and technical was just conceptual related to resume experiences/projects. basically a conversation where you deep dive an experience and discuss design decisions made
JA
Thanks
