I applied ~500 had not gotten an offer yet 😢
I am looking for swe roles, and I don't know how to make my reusme look appealing to recruiters on campus or even pass general resume screening
for a sophomore ur resume looks impressive, i'm assuming the reason you might not be hearing back is due to the fact ur a 2nd yr, lots of companies prioritize a specific graduation date
one thing i will say, ur bullet points look really condensed, make the margin smaller so that you don't have too many lines per bullet point, makes it more readable
also is the politcal polarity project relevant..?
Remove "U.S. Citizen." In Education section, remove relevant coursework. Also, remove the Projects section. Move the Work Experience section to the top, so the order will be Work Experience, Education, and then Technical Skills.
idk I was applying to some research roles i the summer like berkeley's superb thing
should i remove it for swe? or create another one that's specific to swe?
it's just hard to tell how it's relevant to your resume, especially if you're gonna apply to swe stuff, if it was more technical maybe it'd help ur resume be stronger
unless you have a really good reason to keep it on ur resume, i'd say to either remove it or make sure you can add more technical things you did (if u did anything technical)
Like stretch it farther into left and right?
yes
I would have to see if I am missing anything technical I did I think I listed everything
