Do people get rejected at EM round? I thought EM round was just for formality or something
Yeah I’ve seen people get rejected after EM round. Did you go through an EM round?
i'd argue the em round is the most important tbh
i had a lot of friends fail at this part despite completely acing the technicals
What does the EM round consist of?
I hate how they say it’ll be a deep dive of the projects and past experiences and “may” consist of a system design
competely depends on interviewer
Emailed the recruiter asking what white-boarding application I should get familiar with to try and scope out if I would actually get asked a system design
They haven’t replied yet
it can be different person to person
How did your friends fail?
they think they flunked the behavorial
Like were they just caught off guard by some questions?
Oh but that’s before the EM round
Oh interesting
Okay my Behavorial was on Zoom after 2 back to back 1 hour technicals
This EM round will be the fifth interview and be the sole interview in the third round
Right, cause it was an actual on-site
Mine was through zoom, so after behavioral (which was scheduled back to back with 2 technicals) I got a week buffer before the EM round.
Any particular questions your friends say they got that they couldn’t answer?
Whether that be the behavioral or the EM round
could you check dm @mint meadow
Wdym by flunked?
hey, did your interviewer for HR round tell you that you've advanced to EM round at the end of the interview?
yeah
and they took down my availability
I was sent an email the next day telling me when my em round would be
