Did u expedite ?
do u mind if i ask what they were? or even topics?
Sry not comfortable answering
no
which office and when you received the offer
congrats! how long after final did it take to receive offer?
4/4 oa?
yes
menlo park
updated timeline above
did they call u?
yeah sooo crazy
No. just email
damn yeah sunday is interesting
tagged from 30d?
wagmi
yes
any hard? or all meds
did they give u location options or just mpk?
all meds
no options. i think maybe because mpk is my first preference
is top 100 enough or all 30d
top 100 enough
variations? any followup ?
Start date? @sacred crater
congrats! Interviewer initials if you're comfortable sharing?
did you solve all 4?
yeah some variations (designing a class and an api like lc 173)
yes
.
.
wdym api
.
.
could you explain what you mean by the variations?
they did not ask the leetcode qs as is. They asked how to develop a class with an api that will be called frequently. So you have to make the api constant complexity and maintain the class carefully
NG?
meta ng ?
yea ng
.
was your final loop 1 day or multiple days?
and you had 2 tech 1 behavioural or 3 tech 1 behaviour?
I had 1 day, 2 techs 1 behavioral
I don’t know if there’s like a consensus on why some people got 3 techs and some got 2
multiple days and 2 tech 1 bq
there is 1 round for interviewer training and doesn't count for rating ig
Wtf LMAO
did u alr do it?
like leetcode 146?
yeah
can i dm?
sure
like lc 173
.
how was behavioral
It went well. Just regular qs and follow up
did it last the entire 45
yes
R they giving direct offers or do u still have to do team matching ?
@sacred crater ^
direct offers
how much for the TC?
for behavioral, do they ask questions on resume?
yeah
i wasn't asked
I meant like it’s based off ur experiences, do they go in and read a bullet and ask about it? That didn’t happen with me
Got it, thanks!
Hey everyone, does Meta expect you to know about the typical algorithms like KMP, Manacher, etc as the most optimal solutions?
No I guess
no
Got it, thanks!
Also, for behavioural, like what's the expected time for each answer in the interview. Like, is 2-3 minutes enough with the STAR method or they expect you to elaborate more about the situations?
2-3 min is enough. If they're interested, they'll ask follow up
Thanks!
