Congrats!! For the phone screen, did you have time to walk through your solution through a test case or did you just start coding?
Worried about time management for the interview
i started coding did not have enough time
i would start coding, write a test case at the end
or at the end of each part
NICEEEEEE
congrats
I’ll put all my questions at once so you don’t have to keep returning:
- Is the tech portion of VO the same difficulty as the phone? Also - is it in HackerRank like the phone?
- How many parts were in your integrations interview, and did you need to get all of them? I’m imagining this is similar to HubSpot OA but honestly not completely sure.
- Was getting the environment setup for integrations + bug squash difficult? I prepped mine ahead of time using the doc recruiter sent me but wondering if there’s anything else I should prep for / rehearse for bug squash round.
Did phone + passed it today & submitted times for VO, assuming it will be next week since I told recruiter I might have an RO coming soon
not sure i just gave availibilty for offer call
- yes similar difficulty less time tho, you can choose to use hackerrank but i used vscode since i like my ide setup
- my integration had 2 parts much easier than all the other rounds tho but i think i got one of the easier integeration (did get 2/2)
- not hard for me, did python so just pip install + venv. Be used to using a debugger on pytest/junit or whatever tests are most common in your language of choice
Gotcha - thanks so much. Am in a weird spot where I did all Java at previous two internships but am much more familiar with quick http get/post unpacking & DSA in Python, so opted for Python
Will def. get familiar with debugging in Python as first priority - I will probably opt to use HAckerRank for technical still
I'm assuming it's also 4 part and will aim to get at least 3 if not all 4
I think my rounds were 2.5/3 programming, 2/2 int, 2/3 bug squash
i know they use different problems so might be some variance there especially depending on language
Gotcha, so pretty much need perfect programming & integration, but room for missing ~1 error in bug squash as long as you can elaborate though process & dev mindset well
Girth? Congrats btw
Can you share your prev experience pls?
yep more or less
2x Cisco, 1x C1, T20 BS/MS
Damn, I know someone with this exact experience except they arent graduating
actually 1x cisco tho
yeah ngl cisco really fucked up my resume
i feel like theres a lot of stigma around the company
In person though
what is the requirement on the oa to move forward
Hi @blazing eagle, can I dm u?
13 days
Cfs manager
Go for it
I got through oa with 24/25
Yeah it’s kind of an Indian uncle company
Clutchhhh
Yeah she pulled through
how is the oa and how many rounds total are there? i just got the oa
Oa not bad tbh it’s oa -> tech phone-> 3 round onsite -> manager behavioral -> offer
if ur winter lemme add u to our server
late to the thread but the doc said something about navigating a codebase for some of those rounds, is it simlar to like a repo?
also for integration it's just processing api calls right? like just fetching and posting data from from/to server
Update: TC - 136k (+13.6k annual bonus), 31.8k rsu annually, 27k signon, 10k relo - 218k y1 181k recurring.
Recruiter was vague about hc but she said theres double the hc in seattle as sf. Feel free to dm if you have more questions
Does this mean the pay band is the same for both locations?
Yes you pocket a free 9% in Washington over California
Fuuuuuuck
Thanks
Kinda perplexed about what the threshold is to move onto HM Final, somebody reported 1.5 / 3-4 tech, 1.5 / 2-3 integration, 1/3 bug squash and moved onto HM
They do a final hc at the end so getting to hm vs not adds a data point but it’s not unconsidered after hm
Hc as in hiring committee
I see, so it's holistic and considers all previous rounds right
So it's still beneficial to do as well as possible on VO + Phone even if you can move on with a lower score
Got perfect OA + 4/4 phone so hopefully it goes well
Thanks for answering all the questions, I'm prepping a ton for it and hope to see you at Stripe 🫡
Yessir see you in Seattle
@opal summit did they schedule the first provided date?
ok lol need to delete my tuesday scheduling asap i think
no, they are very strict about no negotiation
and from what ive seen online, even the most cracked mfs have not been able to get more out of them for external hire. intern -> ng conversion might have higher comp tho
are you planning on taking it
maybe?
we'll see
itd take some real unluckk
but yeah
