how many/how much time did you spend on follow-up questions? trying to figure out how quickly i should work through solutions to the initial problems

what topics were your technicals if u don’t mind sharing

1st technical: 1 follow up question. spent 20 minutes explaining and coding solution. initial question was already hard so follow up was hard++ and basically just a 10 minute conversation
2nd technical: 1 follow up question. spent 25 minutes explaining and coding solution. follow up was basically only 5 minutes just some small changes (though i think it was to weed out cheaters since if you cheated you wouldn't understand what small things to change). easy/medium question.
3rd technical: 1 follow up question. spent around 2 minutes explaining and coding initial question, spent entire rest of interview trying to figure out and code follow up 😦 first question is a easy, can't really give an estimate on what difficult the follow up was

2. streaming data, fine-grained time and space complexity analysis and handling edge cases
3. trees / graphs, couldn't find this problem online

Ahh okay, and jw did RF ask you for anything after onsites/how did they tell you that you passed HC or moved to team matching if you could share

they ask for transcripts before / after final if you're moving on to hiring committee, other than that there won't be any news until the final email

Yea I was asked before interview but also after onsites when I reached out, but she just said “make sure I have updated resume/transcript” lol

i didn't have to reinterview it was rescheduled

I had to reinterview, I didn’t ask for it RF just told me i had to take another one (no reasons mentioned but probably because of mixed feedback)

not bad bad but not great, needed a lot of hints + one of them I solved sub optimally but it was a DP hard and the interviewer was a novice
