Yeah its pretty random from what ive heard. both in terms of past exp, and in terms of interview

Uhh my resume is research lab with a paper, a specific board position in an AI club, two past internships, one is a non tech company and one is a big startup where I did AI and data science stuff, a couple non board club leadership positions, and a win at a big hackathon

no FAANG or anything big tech in the past

Oh and also I have a referral from a lvl 60/61 (Alumni mentor who I found as a friend of another alumni mentor, who I found through a uni program)
And a pretty good public school but not berkley
