Do you know what the whole process is? And any tips on the initial call?
just glaze palantir
have a good reason why youd choose palantir over places youve interned at before
they rarely reject at the initial call i think
But don’t negatively talk about your past experience right?
i mean i said stuff i liked and disliked for each
then said palantir basically combines a lot of stuff i liked from past internships
definitely do go all out talk shit about your past internships but i think saying stuff like you didnt like the vibe or the work dint fit your interestsis fine
the whole process is recruiters call -> 1h coding -> 1h system and product design kind of thing and 1h learning a new concept and applying right away (these two are back to back) -> hm
Like I wanna say how the mentorship program wasn’t the best and I had to do enterprise work, but I really enjoy working with really impactful tech and know the importance of a good mentor
Would that be fine?
honestly i cant really tell u because its very much a black box what they are looking for
i thought i did fine during HM but got rejected
And what is hm? I know it’s hiring manager
But idk what it entails
its behaviourals and technicals
sometimes only behavioural
but i think most people here got 30min of each
Is it the worst of your previous rounds
cause i blanked out lmao
Learning is the new concept one right?
yeah
Is that more coding or just system
Looks like it’s coding. But I’m confused what’s the new thing. Guess It’s gonna be something like a new class or function and use it for other code maybe
Learning is complete bs half the documentation in my round for 2 functions was either straight up wrong given the interviews desc of its functionality or INSANELY misleading absent more context
its like debugging existing codes
Can’t u discuss with interviewer about your doubts on the validity
You can choose Python?
Yea but there are continual followups and I ran out of time one of the functions in particular was completed fucked up based on the desc it wasn't even returning the correct shit lol
was it the first bug lmao
i feel like i had similar experiences
It was like the 3rd or 4th followup
I was so confused
i think i only passed VO cause i did decomp really well
learning was quite hard to me
then still failed hm
💀
They rejected me b4 hm😹
its impossible to get in this company bro
