@upper osprey happened to me, just keep checking this channel. seeing things like “meta reject” after final will help u cope, we all going thru it together ❤️
Thank you
did you get rejected from MSFT after interviewing for Redmond office Monday?
lol
beautiful comment ily butterfly
bro
game is game
that’s why it’s funny
I am struggling to understand why people are calling microsoft interviews easy. From seeing the results, it clearly is not.
did u have msft this week?
i heard quite a few people go system design Qs
interesting
do you mean questions that are object oriented focus
or actual system design of distributed backend systems (i.e. load balancing, caching, replication)
I thought msft only asks system design for new grads and up
Here are a Qs someon got
How would you design the backend of a purchasing system for a product?
bro was a sophomore 😭
wow, it's crazy sophomores are being asked system design
hopefully they accept a relatively high level design explanation
- microservice architecture: split the backend into various services (product, payment, ordering, inventory) so each can be individually scaled to accommodate high user traffic
- Relational database (i.e. PostgreSQL) to store product information, as transactional consistency is essential
- Kafka or some sort of message queue to handle async updates to inventory (for example, when user buys product, inventory must decrease)
and some more details regarding an example user flow, REST API design, etc.
Wym? Just two rejects out of 150+ interviews
who was the other one that got rejected?
I see only one msft reject after final in the process channel
n=1 so I might very well be wrong. I think we’ll just have to wait for more people to post results
There was
80 Mondays kickoff call and 60 Wednesday one
That’s right
In the past
