ur interviewing for early career (non campus) US right?
Hiring Committee decision was "HOLD" (need more datapoints to make a decision)
early career campus canada
F cooked
Basically, not good enough to pass straight on, not bad enough to be rejected
gl. you're basically getting a second shot
Did they ask lc hards?
yeah... a one problem random 45 min interview shot 💀
on my onsite yes
start praying
Prolly hc full by the time i interview
They're slow af so maybe not
nope 1 medium 1 hard and one medium/hard-ish
Just curious, when was your onsites? Had mine (EC non campus) about a week n a half ago and trying to get a feel for how many weeks I'll probably be waiting
2 weeks ago
was it lc tagged?
What type of problems did you get? Graphs? If you can answer
no
mono stacks / DP / backtracking (no graphs sadly... i wanted graphs)
Why does bro want graphs ðŸ˜
Dp is my weakness
was it hard
I think I’d rather get graphs than dp
DP hard yes
Were u able to code up dp hard?
graphs are so nice, at least it's easy to go in the right direction in interviews
Fax
Fml. Were the questions very vague or kind of direct enough to know what DSA to use
I didnt even figure out it was DP lol it could also be solved in a weird graph way so I did that (however it's probably less efficient but who cares)
nope
They're making me work hard for it
Ise fine croski
Google is teasing me

They want more
Was the backtracking close to one of the famous questions
Nope
mono stacks and back tracking arent bad
DP tho gg
which ones was the one u struggled on?
The backtracking one
Because you had to do some stuff before with the input to figure out it was backtracking
Like the guy gave me huge hints to put me in the right direction
How cracked are u at lc? @lusty acorn
I’m okay ish i guess
ahh i see, cause i would say backtrack is stil graph
Yeah no it was more about the idea of using backtracking not the backtracking in itself that was hard
Problem specific difficulty, not pattern specific
just be ready for something as technical as that interview then cause i think they want to see how u think through it (may not be same dsa)
If you know what I mean
Did you fully code everything?
yeah like understanding the problem
Yes
Well didnt have time for one followup but wrote in comments how i would do it
was nc150 good prep? or need more
Yeah i guess it’s enough that’s mostly what I prepped with
You’re cracked with 400
when u scheduling the extra interview?
26th of september
not cracked enough apparently
yeeeeeeah let's go
Been working 2 years and haven’t reached the 150 count
nc150 is literally free 150 for u + do some daily / past conests
Been doing that but also have less time to really grind with work
Went through like 80+ on nc150
Gave up on dp after solving the basics like house robber
ah shit goodluck man!
Just one round for too much hints?
They require the extra round right?
