Did u solve all lcs optimally?
August 7th applied
August 16th OA
August 19th finished OA
August 28th invite for final
September 6th final scheduled
September 10th had final
Offer September 17th
:oooo congratulations! any tips for the final round?
which role did u apply?
Location?
Location is in Minnesota I didn’t have any say in that
SDE1 new grad 2024
I only had 2 leetcode and one I solved optimally. The other I fumbled extremely bad and thought it was a OOD since it was worded so weirdly so I was kinda just yapping BS. But I explained my approach and talked through everything.
For the final I think the most important thing is to have really good behaviorals I think that’s the main reason I was able to get an offer because the convos that I had with the interviewers were really good and I hit the LPs really hard
Did you not apply for New Grad 2024?
Yeah that was what I applied for
what LPs were asked? if you don’t mind sharing
Like the specific questions or like which LPs they were looking for?
questions if you can share them,,, otherwise just the LPs
Not too comfortable sharing the questions and I also don’t really remember them but they were really basic like STAR interview questions. In terms of the LPs I think like each question could be associated with any LP so what I did was just choose like a specific LP that matched the story I was talking about and really hammered that
ah thank youu! also congratulations 🫶
did you get your interview times in CDT or PST? Do you know if it has any correlation to the location you'll get matched to?
My interview times were scheduled in PST
And since I was placed somewhere that is CST I would think that the interview schedule time has no correlation with where you would be placed
lc tagged?
One question was a tagged that’s pretty high up on the list and the other wasn’t tagged but a very common problem
Medium and easy I think are the difficulties
Actually it might be a medium the other one as well but a very easy medium
Did you have to do dry runs on each coding question or did you just explain your solutions?
may I ask what type of question it was? two pointer? graph? tree?
Oh wow, did they spend a lot of time on behavioral then?
So for the first coding I spent some time explaining my solution then after the interviewer seemed satisfied I coded the solution then we had some back and forth about like different approaches to the solution and he kinda asked me a little bit about the data structure that I used
The second coding didn’t go too well and I was kinda just blabbering
I’m not too comfortable saying what question type it was exactly but I will say I didn’t get any DP questions which was what I was worried about
I had three interviews and one was entirely behavioral one was coding only and one was behavioral and coding the coding only one was really fast and only asked me one question
Just curious when is start date for this role?
