i did the technical and it was a pretty straightforward question, leetcode medium at worst and nothing out of the ordinary. Intro, plan, time/space complexity, solution, testing and any questions.

Any knowledge of system design is super helpful

My recommendation is have basic understanding of what technologies are used in several use cases like stream processing apps (ie AWS Kinesis or Kafka), or micro architectural structure of something like Uber. Name dropping systems like Kafka, Redis, etc is key

Learning part is super rng, like they said it’s something you can’t prepare for. Just make sure to focus on what they are “teaching” you and just ask follow ups if your ever confused

Tell them your interests, ideally full stack or backend since that’s the type of people they want

like lots of companies they’re lowering salaries 😦
TC is in range 170 - 200k

used to be like between 210 - 240k pre 2023
