What’s on it?
ServiceNow engineer roles are quite reliant on location I believe
where are you from?
or maybe not from but what location is on your resume/application?
Midwest lmao
that probably plays a role in it tbh
They want most engineers to by hybrid in office. There are tons of offices worldwide but the main US offices for engieers are San Diego and Santa Clara
Im sure they are looking for people who are already closer to the area
I am from san jose dude
oh RIP
Lmao
It’s not due to location, 99% won’t mind moving if they get a job in this market
No referral but msft on resume
I figured it may have been because I know its kinda being pushed internally
ehhhh kindaaaaa. Pretty much all of our engineering interns are santa clara or san diego
a few in seattle
Ohh I see..
maybe 2-3 remote in other locations
every engineer I know who tried to move location basically was told its either santa clara or san diego
they let you pick whichever one you want, but pretty much all engineers are stuck to those options. At least for new grad
I don't mind moving honestly..
Woah...
the company itself is open to remote but that probably comes a few years after putting in the work
Ohh makes sense
TBF ServiceNow process is kinda insane. I had Coworkers interning with me from Yale, CarnegieMellon, MIT, etc
Damn!!!
Pretty much everyone was either from a big name CS school or a san diego native who went to a UC school
Dang it..USC Doesnt stand a chance then lol
