Congrats! How was your interview? Did you feel good about it or any doubts?
You had to wait a month after the interview for the decision? Did they at least follow up in the meantime?
What’s the reply after final you got after 5 business days
Must be on wait list
Why do you think so
Canada or US?
Ik a few people who got waitlisted last month and got offer last week
Not sure
not tagged
i didn't hear anything for a month and got offer on a random day, i was least expecting it
Were the questions easy/med?
one was a straightforward question but the focus was more on clean code and not algorithmically optimizing it, other was med-hard
it was okay, i was not super hopeful but i did well on 2 rounds and not so good on the other
How did you feel with behavioral side?
felt i did great on this, i had high impact stories
+1
do you have any tips on studying/maybe processing a question i might blank on
also, do u get to pick what location or is it all just seattle
for amazon in general if ur code looks perfect and its next to near solution - its' fine and can call a pass^
what i've been observing so fa
far*
@hollow surge
ahh ok
im just like getting lost w backtracking/somedp/recursion stuff so i feel like i might blank on a question like that
i got 2 more days to study lol
Nope could be anything
Got put in SD but i think Seattle is the most common
ah sd would be lit
US
they decide the location for u
i would say be vocal about your thought process, the interviewers are very helpful and guide u through it, but if you stay quiet they cant help
Have you followed up after interview?
Getting an offer and going to SD is like my dream
my recruiter email asked for location preferences hopefully they will actually take it into account
For me, sd is perfect. Great weather year round, great food, close to LA, not too far but not in the craziness. The beaches are unmatched, and people are more laid back
did they ask you about OOD and did you have to code it out or just talk through the steps
have any idea on HC
same i would pick irvine -> LA -> SD -> bay -> NYC
one round is full behavioral
isn't it diff for everyone
every one ive seen has had 1 full behavioral, but I could be wrong
how many lp questions do they ask in a full behavioral
4-5 with follow-ups
do followups follow star too?
Yeah. I suppose it depends on your interviewer. Often times he would ask me for specific components of STAR as the follow up
