Yuh
politically charged
Too late to change
lol
yea it's only slightly
anyone with a brain will understand that what you're doing isn't supporting the israel government
as in Netanyahu?
Also all the FAANG do crazy R&D here
So
Yeah\
If they had summer internships as I think here everyone would apply
you're a rising soph?
first need to change your format
use jakes resume
nevermind i saw your education
second may want to put education on top of your resume
Rising jr
bro is contributing to the oversaturation of cs majors
Awesome thanks
everyone uses jakes
jakes is tried and true
I'll swap to that thanks
ya now u look like every other resume tho
its not that negatvie
its just somethign to considr
sure but uniqueness is penalized in corporate america
also its a resume the content matters more
why so?
which is y i think the format aint that deep
u just have to check if ur shit parses
yea not a big deal but jakes is easier to scan through for recruiters
recruiters are lazy people
I'm not gonna say to switch to Jake's but this template looks odd, so Jake will be a good idea. Any other good templates would work too but as everyone said Jake is reliable
yeah i feel like at the very least it could use some lines
aight id say atleast change the font on jakes
yeah, lines and spacing feel off
yea font is fine
that way looks somewhat unique
idk about the involvement section
also back to the actual content
first bullet point sounds BS
how is analyzing data help decrease execution time?
that makes no sense
execution time of what
developed pricing model needs to be its own bullet point if it's substantial
building the sql database needs to be expanded more upon
Early College doesn't really have to be on resume, but you can leave it. Education can go at the top. Keep your courses with your education section. Move skills section towards the bottom. Only one project, and the case intern position does not sound technical enough.
okay to keep the case intern on if there's space
otherwise leave it off and replace it with something else
and how is courses not in your education section
case intern is probably better than a project, but I'm not sure
recommendation is education -> experience -> projects -> skills
put courses and involvement in education
don't put "JS", put JavaScript
it helps with ats keyword matching
i'm a professional at this i should make people pay for my service
thoughts @drowsy blaze
i mean if they're only into data science then that's fine
though it's odd to put you know javascript but not html and css
yeah, this is fine for data science but in that case they should probably include a better data science/analysis project
well unless you only use javascript for backend
also what if you remove "Jerusalem, Israel" from your resume?
just switch it to remote
idk about the potential impact but working a job in israel is going to be slightly politically charged whether you like it or not
it's not even larp
@sullen grove did you work remote on in person
doesn't matter too much but my suggestion is to use "utilized data analytics to ..."
don't be long-winded
also they had html css for their project, but just left it out on the skills section i guess
Awesome thanks guys
