exactly 😦
Fuck that sucks.
interview process is always weird dude, basically the person should like you.
keep working, u will get something
I noticed that interviewers don't like people who can solve a question. i could not solve the question in round 1, still got selected for round 2
I am following the same strategy and i don't solve questions fully in round 2 as well
May be that works
You taking about uber or in general?
in general
i cleared 3-4 other companies, they also rejected me
cuz i solved dsa questions fully in those rounds
I guess we cannot generalise like that
so fail to solve, then they might hire
Lol
Discalimer: i don't force anyone, i am just telling my opinion. If you follow my strategy and still can't get offer, it's not my fault.
its all luck sir
luck needs to be in ur favor
- hardwork
but congrats man for uber 🙂
refer me later if u get in!
Dude there are many people who would have passed round 1. In the end they have to eliminate some people
It's all luck now a days
world is randomized
So just chill in the rounds
I am planning to play some jokes to my interviewer, lol
that's. what i said too man. luck is needed
Wait was this for new grad or higher?
SDE-2
Oh
The uber compiler is like an outdated python compiler
My test cases failed on their compiler because it didn't understand the constructor.
Was p weird
My code worked on a different compiler and i even showed the interviewer.
i am talking about Uber new grad
This is new grad yes
For these interviews what I noticed its easier to give them the sub optimal answer first and then "work" your way to the optimal answer.
So you can show your thought process
mine ran broooo
i did import sys - it was nt there because i wanted to do -sys.maxsize for -infinity. but then used -1 fot that an dit worked
everyhting
anyways still a L
so picky uber
Hey ur round 2 is done? mine is tomorrow
u failed in which subround of round2?
there are 3 rounds tomorrow
how was your interview? 🥺
isn't the complier codesignal? 😭
