LGTM! Not much feedback here
dang if justin says it's good, then it must be pretty good lol
Can always chg small things here and there but thing ur resume is great for a sophmore
looks good to me
Looks good to me
Yea honestly, maybe can use bit less jargon for first one, maybe chg a bullet point here and there bit more technical. But honestly if u kept as is, is great
I dont think ur issue is resume this point, prob more getting the interview and passing
yeah
maybe remove certifications
get rid of experiences
tbh ur projects stand great themselves
Expand on ur project bullet points
Can add like a one bullet point each
If u just wanna fill space
increase font
or add a bullet point
or move experiences to bottom
and projects to top
Nah is fine
even qualitative measurement is fine
But yea
Yea the whole number thing matters much less than the tech / what u did / how u did it / why u did it
why? haha
its quite good for a sophmore. there are ppl who go their whole cs career without building even a backend
wym? ur already using fullstack tech
And i mean i literally tell ppl to build baby crud apps
like todo lists
and they get google
so it rlly doesnt matter
That was me, and tbf, I said the first two projects was good, the other ones are a bit basic
Not anymore that was a long time ago
Yes 😅
Nah even now. Can still just build crud apps
Rlly as long u can get the interview
resume isnt much of a blocker
Yes but they can't be just simple ones anymore, especially if you're targetting full stack stuff
Well obv, but you need the right projects for that on your resume
Yeahhh. I guess depends by what is simple.
i see ur point
I usually say just build a “simple fullstack crud”
so i guess to me is already anything at basic crud is fine, as long u spice it up a bit
and it isnt like password generator
No need
just apply in september
what does applying early do to u 😂
and nothing rlly tends to come out till september anywyas
can read timeline section
like?
Just curious
I see
I rlly wouldnt worry
Ive done this like last 4 years, anytime ppl see it come our early they just get ghosted. Just want for cscareers to actuallt see ppl !process phone interviews
no
sometimes i weite in my notion doc but for ex
meta have released early before
but they dont process till september
but my application got lost bc of that
so i had to reemail them
and my recruiter
Also u just kill ur study time
let’s say u do get an interview
are u rlly ready?
september is already quite early
and on mark for internships
Yes cause september is already quite on track with when they “really” start
and then october to dec
they begin oa / phone / finals
all the way through feb
shoot
Are u a citizen?
Just wondering
Ok
I’d personally create two apps tbh 😂. One for Junior / one for sophmore
Tbh if i had to choose one id choose junior
But id just split my email acc / address / resume one for sophmore one for junior
I think STEP is much more highly competitive, and while ocassionally ppl get it. I dont bank on it. vs even a sophmore applying as a intern under the normal google program ive heard back then vs their step
Just create two accounts to apply under
and to prevent ur accounts getting linked
use diff emails / addresses / resumes
Can use a nickname for one of them, and say oh that my preferred name but my legal name is xyz later
Or something
or just use the same name
doesnt matter
Main thing is prob email / address / resume hash
Yeah no worries
Junior makes sense
Join my discord through notion and join my beta
I literally started today
