Senior eng still in undergrad?

Unconventional path

Not an expert but I’d probably throw the edu section on the bottom & add a few more bullet points to your senior eng experience to highlight that part because it’s super valuable.

Curious about putting education at the bottom though

#

Especially since I’m still wrapping up my degree

At the top tells me you’re looking for new grad jobs

Ahh ok

#

Is that usually what recruiters interpret

#

That makes sense

#

So you’d suggest skills, experience, projects, then education?

The experience at the top would communicate that you are an experienced hire coming in with skills that they value.

Am I missing any sections do you feel?

i mean some people might go wtf at being a senior swe while still in college

#

idk if this is an online university or something but if it is probably put it at the bottom

#

do bear in mind that companies look generally at your YOE, you wont qualify for most senior roles at other companies. it might just be best to downgrade it to SWE so they dont make weird assumptions in the 6 seconds they look at your resume

What if the company is well known and reputable though?

#

Would you still suggest changing the role title?

so you might have to explicitly justify fast promotions (i know meta for example you can get promoted really quickly if you kill it in industry)

#

you basically hit, while in college, senior in a year when more typically it takes something like 3 to 5 years working full time
