#Has anyone interviewed with Floqast?

@dense pagoda hey did u have a final round yet? i have a final round scheduled and apparently its gonna be a react round and BE (node/express) round... not sure how to prepare
Yeah, I did. Unfortunely, I did not get hired. For me, the rounds were set up differently. We didn't do react or node at all. I had an easy coding challenge where they add requirements in as you code (not algo based), a design round, and a round to talk about your past jobs and tech you used
Everyone was nice! But sadly they didn't extend an offer to me
ooh interesting, yeah that sounds like what all the glassdoor reviews say. I guess the team im interviewing with has a different interview process X_X
thanks a ton for the input!!
No problem 🙂 Good luck!
hey i’m also interviewing with them now, how was the second round with the manager?
standard behavioral, probably gonna ask u about what uve worked on etc
then its a lc easy, should be free as long as ur basic javascript is good
be sure u know how to make a map in js, the exact question has been leaked a bunch in glassdoor alr, its the error log one
@white berry Can you enlighten on what the error log question is ?
How is the design round? Is it Object-Oriented Design? Any tips on how to prepare for the design ?
the design round is fairly straight forward. they ask to design a venmo like app, but they might want you to describe the current project you are working on from a system design perspective
good luck!
their interview process is pretty good, and they wrap it up in 2-3 weeks
@white berry How was the final round?
Have mine scheduled for later and i believe it is also a react / node round
@maiden vector
node round, they will have u design a schema and rest endpoints i.e. POST/PUT etc. they'll give you a basic overview of the app and you're expected to discuss and implement
react round, they had a UI of an ecommerce website and I was expected to implement as much as I can. The guy emphasized he didnt expect me to finish or come close to finishing
ngl if ur react is weak ur probably cooked
i got fucked since im not a frontend engineer lmfaooo
Lmfao yeah same lol
Do you remember if all the boilerplate html was done and you just had to implement functionality or if you had to implement entire pages from scratch
Thanks for responding too
Is this for software engineer 1? My recruiter told me that its a technical screen, System design / pair programming, then a talk with the a manager. If i get a node/react round, I'm cooked lmao
nah i interviewed for swe 2
i think it just depends on the team u interview with
most ppl get sys design and pair like u i think
overall the people were nice tho, no complaints
didnt feel like id learn a lot from working there tbh, so i think it was for the best
@white berry wait did u have to know redux as well for the react portion?
for the technical screen, did the interviewer go in depth in to your resume or asked you random cs questions? Or was it just a leetcode question?
^ i'm also confused about this was it a resume and a leetcode question for the phone screen?
What role, it’s different for each one
software engineer 1
its the lc easy easy question + resume questions / behavioral
