Is it ng?
How did you apply?
role?
Return offer prolly
thanks everyone! I'm a new grad who has never interned at apple before. They offered me software engineer ict3.
The position wasn't for new grads specifically, I just applied on their website
I think I applied mid May and have had 3 rounds since then. I've only recently heard back with the offer
They never really ghosted me, they just took a week or more between each round (with scheduling, decisions, etc)
what team?
AppleTV
congrats bro, it wasnt for a ng position tho? interesting lol
yeah it was just a regular posting that i found on indeed lol
if you mean international no, i'm a us citizen
i went to a T100 college and have one year (may 2023 to may 2024) of internship experience at a mid size company
What was your interview structure like ? 3 LC?
whered u find the job posting? I dont remember apple putting one up then
Very little LC actually but there was 3 rounds, totaling about 6 hours of mostly technical questions
Indeed
where'd u find it
Why would they? They get enough candidates through their own portal
so people know if exists
what kind of person checks the apple portal every day
@rare wolf LinkedIn isn’t even that trustworthy anymore, companies post jobs just for the clicks.
You can search for new jobs at a normal cadence, checking everyday is too much.
I’ve never had trouble finding postings on Apple site. Very straightforward with their filters, and especially if you know what kind of jobs you’re looking for (specificity)
The problem is not finding it, the problem is having to check manually instead of it showing up on a job board
It is on a job board. The Apple job board. You have to do the same thing on LinkedIn lol
Do you think it's reasonable to check every single company's job board separately?
Yes lol…do you want the job or not? People used to have to knock for jobs. You can click on companies you’re interested just fine. Why do you feel so entitled to have jobs lined up for you? Take that to your university’s career center
"there's worse ways so don't complain!!!!111"
You have a boomer mindset
You don't want innovation
Or actually sane design
You have the complaint and the skill set, make the future you want for your generation
Go make the tool lol
There’s a ton of of job lists though, so I don’t understand why you’re complaining
There’s GH, LinkedIn, word of mouth, career fairs, indeed, Glassdoor, actual company job boards
