What was the entire timeline? Like application to OA to interview to offer? Congratulations btw mann!
2 prev internships at Goldman Sachs. Have Java and c++ on my resume
No OA. Final invite: June 5. Final: June 17
When did you apply?
May 26
Thanks! I'm also being shown in consideration for a team-specific position, just hoping I hear back 🤞
Hope you hear back. Good luck!
can you please check DM? I've an interview next week and have some questions
just ask here, I'll answer them
are you bachelors?
Is this for the 2024 NG position?
yes
can you share questions
A Medium and hard question from tagged top 40
How did you prepare for technical/behavioral?
Technical: Neetcode 150 and tagged questions. Behavioral: Leadership principles and prepared some tell me about a time questions
Are you intl student?
no
I know you mentioned the role, but what level is that?
SDE1/L4
Congratulations 🥂
did you sort by frequency?
Thank you!
Yes
asking hard is foul
were the interviews mostly LP's or mostly technical?
I would say half and half. As long as you solve a problem in less than 30 mins maybe they assign a little more time to LPs but both interviews lasted for an hour
As long as it's a famous lc hard, it's okay
This is in top 10
If I get this, its over
How long had you lc prepped before the interview
I would say few months
Is it normal for Amazon new grad ?
Would you say grinding only LC easy and medium is good enough?
Whats pc
LC typo my bad
Not sure but some new grads have been getting hard problems
I would do some hard questions as well
The questions would all be themed on Amazon right, nothing will be exactly like the actual LC questions?
i think hard is becoming more common now, just because they know there are several people who have grinded hundreds of leetcode problems, so their solution is that just giving a harder problem will help them find the best candidate
afaik some amazon teams don't ask DP though
I got actual LC questions
Exactly
Which ones?
It’s LC prep anyway so I hope u don’t mind sharing
Not sure if I’m allowed to disclose the questions but the tagged 40 by frequency should help you
Also I doubt the questions get repeated
As long as you’re decent at LC it should be okay I think
Okay thanks man
congratulations @radiant verge I have also got the interview oppurtunity for this particular role but I got reject mail even after performing well.
I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you. It could be the leadership principles then
Thanks!
Were you asked team or role specific questions?
Or just LC and LP?
were the LP questions similar to the ones from here?
Just LC and LP
A little
Do they ask u to do the technical question in a specific language?
No you can choose any language
Did you have any other technical Q&A (maybe something specific to the role) other than coding?
nope
Were your questions string and hashmap or something different?
hey sorry to ask again but did u get an email like this "aws de opportunity - next steps in the interview process" or similar like that? Just wonder if they send it automatically after u finish the OA 🥹
It’s not automatic. I got an email from my recruiter saying they will be scheduling an interview
thank you for your reply!!
Recruiter initials?
Do u have 1+ yoe? All the de roles require 1+ yoe at amzn, from what i see
I have 1+ yoe if i count internships, but not fulltime..
no i don't. There are a few NG roles from the last months I think
hi, sorry for bothering again but can I ask do u get any system design?
not for sde1
