#new grad. Idk what I'm doing wrong but I definitely am

if you've been getting 0 callbacks and applied to many places the issue might be somewhere else
two page resumes are highly discouraged to my knowledge
you could cut the final internship (just since it happened in 2020) and list fewer projects to save space (also using fewer bullets)
Thanks a lot!! Would you recommend taking out the "founding engineer" role or changing its title? I'm imagining they could see it as red flag in some ways for performance at my job
none of these projects are particularly impressive so you'd need to sell one of them better
hugeinteger seems relatively trivial (like something i might play around with in class)
i'd probably take out the least significant bullet point from your last two internships
I’d def change the project names to perhaps be a bit more engaging
wdym?
I see, thanks a lot!
i've been told that hiring managers are wary of candidates who might have like a side hustle bc it would split their efforts and they might not perform at the job
Hmm, it would make sense but I haven’t heard of anything like that
i've seen people with startups be perfectly fine.
statistically few are actually going to make it so i def think some people sort of take that stuff with a grain of salt.
main issue is if it could pose a conflict of interest. some companies are going to be really anal about outside activities although others won't really care as long as you're delivering. (i have heard stories of some companies prohibiting you from contributing to open source for instance)
