Yes
Yeah ngl weird not entirely sure
What positions you applying for?
One thing I noticed is like the projects is just what you did at work
No personal projects outside of work
Also noticed resume doesn't have that structure where you explain result of what you did
Like show business impact
Anyway idk I guess like if I think about what roles you would fit in, IoT engineering is the biggest one?
From resume I can't really tell what you would fit best in
Compared to the roles on the market
Full stack web
Frontend
Backend
DevOps engineer
Data engineer
You don't fit any of those from your resume
C++ developer of some kind maybe?
Yeah idk I keep reading your resume and thinking back to all the roles I've checked in the past 4 months, there's very few cases where I'm like oh yeah this guy would be perfect for this
i'd take out the juni role and replace it with MSFT intern, or at least push that to the bottom
Another thing is for someone with 2 yoe or intermediate developer, I notice it's expected that you're able to take charge of a feature or prototype from end to end including initial design and so forth. I would highlight that experience more, it's not really obvious that you did that right now
Yeah I thought that too out Microsoft role first
But it shouldn't make too much of a difference
for 2+ YOE some employers may not like that its concurrent
i'd say emphasize the social benefit part but don't have that be the first thing that shows up
what you could probably do is change projects to "projects and misc" and then maybe put the juni role there
bullet point about the social benefit
then in experience add an internship
also bullet points really shouldnt be 3 lines
Yeah I agree when reading it got confusing and dry and like unclear because the bullet points were kinda drawn out
You want to make it simple and fast to understand what you worked with and why it mattered
i'd have something that isn't a corporate project though
I think this is the biggest thing though like I don't think there's too many roles for IoT dev rn, I could be wrong
Like if you apply for intermediate full stack developer role with this resume you don't stand a chance
Maybe embedded software developer? Or firmware dev? Do you think you're a good fit for those? Maybe tailor your resume for those types of roles, I see plenty of those
i personally use one diversified resume although its hit or miss in terms of success
It's fine to use diversified resume as long as there are parts that stand out for certain roles
i'm a recent grad though, for more experienced roles you probably need different versions
