Yeah thankfully i somehow looked at it like 30 min before the interview so i was able to get the brute force

But he was asking me a lot about how quick sort worked after i finished the provlem so i was like ahhh im cooked

see for me instead of at least getting a brute force but working solution. i got a broken DP solution and couldn't debug it at all 💀

what did u cook up for ur answer?

Just sorted it then traversed thru sorted array basically

O(nlogn) time but the optimal solution was using some variation of quicksort for O(n)

And we ran out of time because we had a lot of issues getting the text editor to work so only had time to do one question

He was grilling me about my prev exp tho

like doing randomized pivot, or median of medians?

ensure you prepared stories to tell and you have enough details. Also do not mention things that you do not have much detail on.

Go over the LPs, i'd say the most important ones are: customer obsession (ofc), Learn and Be Curious, Bias for Action, Are Right, A Lot, and Deliver Results
