#2nd year CS. Looking for Summer 2024 internships

I prefer to see the tech stack first, and I'm not a big fan of bolding keywords. If you put Python and Matplotlib early in teh sentence, then you don't need to also bold it.
tbh, one of the better resumes I've seen.
@violet meteor bro was those from the Odin project kmao
I too didn't prefer bolding initially, especially coz I thought it gets in the middle of the actual content that the resume is trying to deliver, and Jake's also doesn't do it. But I went to a career fair and was told by more than half of the recruiters there to bold the keywords and technologies so that it's easier to get an idea of what tech was used.
Thanks man 🥹
Yeah lol. I literally had nothing substantial in the web dev area, like smt with APIs and DBs, so I just included all of these lmao.
bro im at the calc project and its not react
can i see ur github bro?
are u getting OAs with this resume? how did u got internships even before u did ur projects
im not getting any OAs with my resume 😢
Yeah it isn't originally in react, so I made a few of these in react by skipping around coz I was time bad
I don't wanna self-dox bro
bro the odin is so much reading
it took me so much time to finish the foundation and i was burned out
how did u spent 3 months to get into react bro
did u just skipped straight to the project without reading?
what scohol if u dont mind? its not dox theres thousands
I got a few OAs. Didn't do too great on all of them. I must say that these are verryy small companies tho. One of these was in high school.
I didn't complete all readings. I did foundations and some more of the intermediate and went to react. It wasn't recommended but I wanted to get a feel of what react was like
are u still doing Odin
Just to clarify, do you mean that you would prefer to see the technical skills section first like at the top or just mentioning the technologies in each bullet point earlier on, like with the Python example?
No since I'm occupied with school and the job search. I'll maybe continue in the summer.
I agree with concept, but prefer to emphasize by leading the paragraphs /sections with those points.
Whatever you prefer, it’s just the first thing I look for so make it easy
