december grad
Congrats! You just hear the final interview results today?
got team matching on 1/30 same day as follow up interview, team matching interviews 2/5, offer today 2/6
@quick apex what location r u going?
menlo park
Hey, are the questions tagged?
Whens your start date for offer?
Nice. I got Google on resume but go to no name school. Haven't heard back after applying early last month.
I heard Meta recruits from universities and sounds like they did that for u.
Do u know if there's anything I could do since I don't go to a big school
Try to reach out to recruiters on LinkedIn
Yeah im trying. Most of their dms r closed lol. Thanks though.
Have you heard of this ever working?
I mean even there DMs are open many will message them daily so they there’s high chance they might not look at
some were like 3/6
sometime march
they found my profile from my career profile on their website idt bc of university
did you get google return to ft?
In pa match hell. It's basically frozen
Are there any hard level questions?
no hards, since you dont run the code, i think they restricted on how complex the question can be cause you go line by line when you test cases
you can try listing that in your resume that you don't have an offer, a recruiter can be hesitant to reach out bc they not sure if you would take their offer since they think you have return
which would waste time for them and the company
Interesting suggestion.
Maybe you're right but couldn't that backfire. Not having an offer might make it sound like I wasn't good enough to get one.
And do recruiters really lean towards candidates without faang experience for higher offer acceptance rate %, couldn't the alternative be that they lean towards FAANG experience because of confidence that they can succeed on job & interview
Lastly, do they continuously recheck resumes, so if I did update it, would anyone even see.
Might as well give it a try though
for the recheck im not sure. but I interned at zon and I mentioned I didnt get return due to headcount but was inclinded to hire and i think that helped me out for reachout bc now they can be more confident that I will accept and be more confident that I can pass interviews
not sure how much of a difference it makes if any but i didn't think it hurt to include it, since i did mention that I was inclined to hire
ok, nice thanks.
yeah, it makes sense to mention that there was just lack of hc - that sounds much better!
i got mostly array, string, hashmap, pointers type questions but they have a list on their career site of topics that they can ask
if u start in february, u get avg january stock price
since meta stock went up 20% recently, basically means +20% rsu boost
i think ppl still get hards p often lol
true 👀
yea some people claimed to have hard in follow up i dont think i had any fortunately
bless
its prob worth if it just means u start 2-3 weeks earlier tbh
How did u do on your finals? Did u do 4/4 optimal solution?
yea 4/4
did u all do optimal solution? I also solved 4 questions but I kind of stuttered and now im stressed :/
yea, if the interviewer was content with your design and its time complexity you should be ok
Tf..recruiter knows about all that? I guess they only get hire or no hire signal from interviewers
srry i meant interviewer not recruiter my b
@quick apex - Do you mind sharing the tc?
~192k FY non negotiable for bachelors, not a return intern, menlo park
Thanks I appreciate it
How many coding interviews did you have on final round?
