#New Grad May 2024, 2 internships (one company), not really many projects

I would take out chess club and add more bullets to your internship
yea that makes sense but for my last one idrk what else to write, that was really the only thing i was tasked with
yea i dont really have anything ive done outside of class ¯_(ツ)_/¯
thanks lol
def a cool experience but not really career impactful
real tyler1
would take out extra curriculars(Baseball and chess)
Would have more quanitifying metrics.
Can get rid of VSCode, microsoft office
Projects seem weak. Wouldn't have 4 - 5 bullet points for course level projects
this is just my opinion, don't have to change if you're confident with your resume.
yea they def are. that project had a lot going on though
gotta work on something but ideas+motivation are hard
ty for help
if i was confident i wouldnt be asking for help lol
imo you need to really gas up your internship exp and make that the focal point of your resume. find it hard to believe that in 3 months you were only tasked with refactoring some email scripts
there is some more i could write about that but wording it to be clear and concise would be kinda difficult
but overall that was really all i did, the "august" was the last week where i was told "yea theres not much for you to do"
"learned conflict resolution, team building", "designed synthesis and posters" are not needed i guess
oh i thought you meant the social media one, yea makes sense to remove those
Also, one full sentence is used to describe the tech stack in each of your projects. takes a lot of space
yeah i agree with this, internship exp needs to beefed up more as it adds more value than course level projects. Try making it your primary point of focus.
really appreciate the help, i'll try that tomorrow or over the weekend
this is the result after doing my school's resume help thing lol
my advice would be to think back to any projects you were assigned to and use chat gpt as a starting point to create resume bullets out of them. Ideally, you'd want at least 3 solid bullets that show some sort of impact for each internship
ye
i'll prob use chat gpt to try to word this if i cant figure it out
realistically, i could put that my internships were june-july bc the august for each was a week. prob wont do that tho
new bullets for my first internship (is 4 too many / should i remove the last?)
