#!process Meta reject (after final. 4/6

sorry to hear that, so u had 3 rounds of tech? and how long did they take to get back to you
wouldnt say bombed, but sadly in this market thats not enough
What does 4/6 mean
what does 4/6 mean??
i thought it's 2 technical interviews and a behavioral or is it different?
You needed 4/4 last year
Or 3.5/4
And getting it right is not only writing the code down that’s only 0.5
That’s what makes meta interviews difficult
Mine is 3 tech and 1 behavioral. But I know ppl who got 2 tech 2 behavioral
Think its based on OA score
so what’s the other 0.5? Pts for accuracy?
Going through line by line with edge cases and answering a question about a follow up
Each 4 of my questions had a follow up question and had to budget time for that
No way I’d be able to without knowing beforehand
Oh gotchu makes sense. Do u have to code the follow ups
Nope just talk about it so ideally 15 mins should be explain solution and code then 5 mins is walkthrough and answer follow up
cool thanks. did they get back to u after final yet
This was last year
ohh my b
were all coding questions from tagged list.
3/4 from tagged, the one that wasn’t tagged was easy though
@jolly mason you might be the goat tbh
When I went thru the process you needed to get all of them correct to pass
were the tagged questions from the top asked?
yeah 3 rounds and it took 2 days
4/6 were tagged. got 1 untagged (easy), missed the other one (i'll say mid)
Did any of the rounds have 2 interviewers?
Cause I've heard the one with two interviewers is a training round so it doesn't really count could be wrong tho
do they tell you your score w/ feedback?
nope
is interviewer giving out hint a negative sign for the interview performance??
(I agree that if never seen the question beforehend there's no way can do that...
I think they increased it to three now from 2 nothing to do with OA score. I scored very low on the OA but yet got 2 rounds which was eventually extended to round three after I couldn’t write code for one problem in time.
But yeah 4/6 would never cut in finals
so you got an additional round after you finished the 2 round?
Yup
what DSA topics does meta ask typically?
How long did it take from finished two rounds to getting reached out to do 3rd one?
Within 24 hours
A lot of tree questions
LC tagged are accurate as far as I have heard and from personal experience
My last round of technical has 2 interviewers
did they ask any hard or mostly medium LC questions
same
Yup to my knowledge that's a training round which doesn't really count but can only help
any of you guys have a 15min greet with the recruiter?
No
As long as you complete it and get to the follow up question that’s a W
Did you go back to meta?
No
