Recruiters finally doing their job š
Like just 2 diff locations?
Got a 3 week deadline with the OA?
I don't see a deadline anywhere
yeah
8 location chances of getting an OA then, still hopeš
And none for me yet, no hope
so true. Only hope is Charlotte + Fargo which arenāt transferred in portal yet so they havenāt looked Fr š
nah, you have more hope than that. I dont think thats how it works. Mine and a bunch of other peoples apps moved within seconds of applying when it came out. This stage just means it was given to the appropriate recruiter for that area
Yeah but that means recruiter may have looked at our resume already since other ppl got OAs, but if not transferred yet they couldnāt have looked, more hope
is sf a location for microsoft new grad?
same
is this for the grad position recently posted or just SWE I?
I donāt remember seeing sf out of the list of locations
New grad Redmond + New Grad Cambridge, Massachusetts (AI one)
What if it still just says "in review" (same things its said since I applied on dec 15)? Do you think they would still transfer it? I applied with referral too
@cold snow
Transferred = In Review
@tropic plover what are ur stats
T10 university
CS major
1x Amazon SWE intern
1x Sports Tech SWE intern
what about projects
I applied with referral as well the day it came out, but unfortunately the word ive heard and the sentiment around microsoft referral ls is that unless your referrer puts the resume in front of a recruiters face, it doesn't make much difference
Any clue how my referrer can find the recruiter internally in MS lol its my brother
why are you asking me instead of your brother š i have no clue, i only know what I know from sweating through reddit lol
Cold apply? Referral? Recruiter reach out?
Cold apply
@tropic plover what was the OA like (difficulty and topics)? You got any advice?
